Dalton Abstract Framed Canvas Wall Art - X Large

Dalton is built on contrast.

A field of chalk-white and soft grey is interrupted by deep navy and inky black massing along the lower edge, then lifted by loose strokes of antique gold that catch the light differently through the day. Nothing about it is quiet — but nothing about it shouts either.

At 200 × 120 centimetres, Dalton belongs to the category of extra large wall art that most rooms are secretly built for and rarely get: one piece, correctly scaled, instead of five arranged around a gap.

Scaled for the wall behind the sofa

The working rule for oversized canvas art is that a piece should span roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture beneath it. At 200cm wide, Dalton sits correctly above a 2.6–3.0m three-seater sofa, a 2.4m or wider sideboard, or an eight-to-ten-seat dining table.

Hung landscape, centre the artwork 145–150cm from the floor to its midpoint, or leave 20–25cm of breathing room above a sofa back. Turned portrait at 120 × 200cm, it holds an entry wall or a stairwell run without needing a second piece.

Two orientations, one purchase

Dalton arrives with both horizontal and vertical hooks already fitted. Landscape above a sideboard today, portrait in the entry when the room changes — no reframing, no additional hardware, no decision you have to get right the first time.
