Chester Fluted Round Coffee Table - Walnut Veneer
A 90cm round coffee table with a travertine-look sintered stone top on a fluted walnut-finish drum, finished with a gold stainless steel band.
The Chester coffee table is the dining table's silhouette brought down to lounge height: a broad, low drum of fluted walnut finish, ringed at the base with a slim gold-finish stainless steel band, carrying a 90cm disc of light travertine-look sintered stone. Because it is a solid drum rather than legs, it reads as one sculptural object in the middle of the room — and there is nothing to bark a shin on.
Round is the sociable shape for a coffee table: everyone on the sofa and the armchairs can reach it, and it softens a room full of rectangular seating. The stone top takes a tray, a stack of books and a vase without looking crowded, and it wipes clean in seconds.
Will it fit your room?
A 90cm round suits a three-seater sofa of around 200 to 240cm — roughly a third to a half of the sofa's length, which keeps the proportion right. Leave 40 to 45cm between the sofa front and the table edge so it is within reach from a seated position but easy to walk past. At 40cm high it sits within a few centimetres of most sofa seat heights, which is the rule that makes a coffee table comfortable to use.
Why the Chester works
Travertine-look sintered stone top — the warm, softly textured look of light travertine in a dense sintered stone that stands up to hot mugs, spills and daily use far better than natural stone.
Fluted walnut-finish drum — a solid base with vertical fluting that reads as sculpture and has no legs to catch.
Gold-finish stainless steel band — a slim ring at the base that matches the Chester range and gold-trimmed lounges.
Sociable round shape — reachable from every seat and kinder in rooms with rectangular sofas.
Delivered as a top and a base — the stone top and walnut-finish drum arrive separately and are brought together in place.
